The Goodsteward DRE KELLZ

The Goodsteward Dre Kellz is a Washington, DC native and culinary artist specializing in versatile cuisines. Kellz always had a passion for cooking.but while raising his kids He had to suppress his burning desire to go after his dream. Once the youngest came of age Kellz pressed forward to go after his dream with everything he had. Even as a child Kellz always had a passion for cooking he was always trying to duplicate the recipes that came from the recipe card file that his Grandmother SARAH J WHITE had in her kitchen Rolodex., As time went on Kellz  became more interested and inspired by the culture and started with small parties & gatherings. The fire was burning to the point it consumed him. Constantly trying to hone in on his craft by reading cook books, just reading on the culture period just constantly seeking knowledge to better himself. Once at a cook-out he was given the opportunity to  work in a commercial kitchen by CHEF JR ROBINSON  of KITCHENCRAY season 14 contestant of HELLS KITCHEN which he jump at the opportunity. After a couple years of shadowing Chef JR he learned much soaking in every experience. Taking on all and any task given, this was his culinary school. Learning from the bottom was his way in to this culinary world. From there he has taken everything he learned and started to carve out his own lane and created COOKS AND CHEFS BRAND LLC a catering service.

Chef MEL

Chef Mel born ON the island of Mauritius which is South-east Africa.” started his cooking at the ripe age of 12. Chef Mel started out at the LABOURDONNAIS WATERFRONT HOTEL. Chef Mel than took what he learned to ROYAL CARIBBEAN & CARNIVAL CRUISES before venturing to FRANCE. While in France Chef Mel trained in BURGUNDY & PARIS before returning back home to MAURITIUS to take place in the young chef competition which he won. Chef Mel then chased his dream and traveled to AMERICA landing in NEW ORLEANS working in the kitchen of the HILTON & WALDORF ASTORIA before traveling to the DMV where CHEF MEL landed at the Michelin star SIREN. From there CHEF MEL has held executive chef position of OZIO’S & SEASON & SESSION
